Today i'm turning garish ghouls into glitz & glamour, for some festive fashion in honor of All Hallows Eve! This ghostly ensemble is witchy in white, with crystal and gold accents, perfect for a spooky, but sophisticated style. Fallen white rose petals add a nice touch of creepiness to the crisp air, for this bewitching bridal look.
Accessories include a vintage spider brooch, with a feminine twist of an opalescent gem, surrounded by rhinestones. Also paired alongside this dazzling deco arachnid, are my 1950s ivory spiderweb heels. These beauties have a babydoll shape, featuring intricately woven webs on the vamp. One of my favorite items from The Pink Collar Life, was our spiderweb scarves, in which the one above is "antique creme." Each fabric in this outfit is its own variation of a white or beige, with ivories and cremes in between, leaving for an extra elegant, and classic look.
I say this about so many dresses, but this one really is a favorite. I would say its either late 40s, or early 50s, with an extra long hemline, and a bevy of buttons. Made of thick linen, with lace inset accents, it was probably used as a wedding dress (making it more perfect for a Halloween theme). This dress can go so many different ways, from bombshell bride, to sweet in the spring, and can be worn in any season, at anytime. I dressed it up a bit with some vintage white leather gloves, to add some drama and decadence.
