Daisies and a Doggy

Spring & Summer California weather calls for flowers in full bloom - especially darling daisies! On my slope, there is lush greenery, pretty palms, rustic ferns, and fresh foliage just waiting to be explored and enjoyed. Of course, I brought my schnauzer sidekick, Bentley, for a little stroll in our meadows.

Gingham prints always seem to make an appearance mostly in spring and summer, and I'm a sucker for the print - especially in lemon yellow. A peasant crop top and a light, white, accordion pleated skirt was a great combo for a sweet Spring or Summer day, Bentley approved! This season's styling is always fun, with light, bright, colors, and fabrics that breathe. Cottons and rayons are always a must, and usually come in the cutest prints. I love a good classic white skirt, as it's a staple that can create a number of different looks. Of course, a neutral or white straw handbag can be paired with nearly anything, as you can see, with my 1950s straw bag.

As we frolicked in the land of yellow daisies, we documented some good ol' barefoot fun, along the way. Bentley is my soon-to-be 11 year old toy schnauzer, but always looks and acts like a pup! He sure loves to pose with his proper pink collar and enjoys the fleurs, as much as I do <3
