After this roller coaster year of 2016, everyone could use a beautiful celebration with their loved ones for New Years Eve. Although I am a sucker for sparkles all year round, December 31st should be glittered and shimmered from everyone in attendance. I dug deep into my wardrobe and wanted to bring out this 1950s, hand-sewn, embroidered lurex, wiggle dress. One of my favorites I scored while living in Sweden, it was purchased at the height of my burlesque career, and it was the bombshells and bump-n-grind stars of days gone by that inspired my purchase... as well as today's ensemble. To add an extra touch of vintage elegance, I paired it with the Chiffon Tea Length Cape in Serenity Blue by Emerald & Palm, with a bursting rhinestone pin on the cape closure, and a vintage, gold, beaded purse. Here's to a glimmering New Year!
