Giddy-up Gingham!

The autumn leaves have already started to fall, and there is no prettier place than the California countryside, as the seasons transition. As you know, us Pink Collar girls absolutely love our western wear, so we ventured out to our favorite farmlands, for a nostalgic 1940's afternoon full of fun under the Californian sun. Gingham was the perfect print for our ranch rendezvous, but more importantly in our signature colors - pink & black! Once again, Tara Starlet has captured everything we adore into her darling designs, and these separates are sensational for any season...

Today we took this look back to the 40's, with some platforms, novelty brooches, and oversized shades. However, pair the crop top with some white capris and you've got yourself a 1960's Bardot-Babydoll look! The ultimate in versatility...

The gingham crop top appropriately named "Dolly," comes in pink and black, as well as tangerine and lime. Dolly has the perfect fit, with a darted bust and classic cropped vintage silhouette.

Of course these ensembles wouldn't be complete without a 1940's inspired novelty brooch from Merriweather, and matching Miu Miu noir glitter shades

We both love horses, and what a treat to visit them on this fine fall day. Tara showed her love with her Merriweather horse shoe brooch <3

Our favorite feature of Dolly, her cute buttons along the back!

Girls for gears, we found some great signage

The matching Dolly skirts in all their glory, in black & pink. These skirts are the perfect length for your typical 40's look, and have button side closure, really accentuating that waist. The pockets have to be our favorite feauture, making the skirt not only comfortable and cute, but functional as well.

It's said that horse shoes bring good luck - well today is your lucky day. All of these pieces are on sale at Tara Starlet, so head over before they gallop away!
