Fifties Bad Girl Part III - Space Age Schnauzers

The Pink Collar Life brings you the trilogy to our most popular post, and this time we brought some serious Space Age and Schnauzers to the set! Every bad girl's wardrobe needs some iconic lurex threads, but this staple piece isn't so easy to come upon. Leave it to original pinup queen, Bernie Dexter to create the most luscious lurex for those ladies who love to live on the edge!

As you know, Bernie has been a featured "Pink Collar Gal," and we couldn't be happier to show off her fashion line, Bernie Dexter, in true Pink Collar fashion. Not only is she a total sweetheart and living legend, but she is one of the few modern designers who truly celebrates the female form - and you know we're all for ultra femme.  "From sophisticated starlet sirens to the Juvenile Delinquent styles from classic and B movies, Bernie Dexter makes fashion’s past come back to life!" Suffice it to say that Bernie's lovely lurex was the perfect starring role in part III of Fifties Bad Girl!

This intergalactic look is sure to have Sputnik spinning, and what better pop of color than pale plush pinks against a shimmering silver. It isn't quite fur coat weather yet, however this look is sure to make another appearance during the winter! The pant and bustier combo can create endless looks, from more casual to high glamour, depending on accessories. Today we opted for over-the-top Old Hollywood glam per usual, with silver hoops, sparkling starburst brooches, and lucite heels. If that weren't enough, we brought in some fabulous furry co-stars and mid century pups, Bentley & Brando..little pets get big baguettes! <3

Diamonds may be a girl's second best friend <3

The silver bustier top has excellent support for "the girls" and is extra fitted with added boning

Most of the time, wearing lurex can be uncomfortable, but Bernie's designs are fully lined and feel super light and comfy, gently clinging to your curves with stretch and ease.

The capri pant is an incredible pattern, with an ultra high waist and mid calf length. The darting around the waist and zip-up back gives off the ultimate authentic vintage bombshell look that we adore so much!

Pink tongues from some happy puppies!

Bentley with his bow was the perfect addition to this faux-furry look

The boys, the girls
