Ranch Rendezvous

Meet Marylou… a curvaceous wiggle dress that oozes 1940s western glamour, with a kick of old rockabilly. This dress is a killer, with its contrasting yoke and floral embroidery details that wrap around from the bust to the back.  It is extremely fitted, and hugs all your curves in all the right places.  As you've heard us mention in our previous post, Glamour Bunny's fabrics are so comfortable, with the perfect combination of durability and softness, making for a glamorous sculpted silhouette.

The Marylou is so beautiful that, of course, she is offered in more than just one color.  You can opt for classic black, or a beautiful shade of teal.  The floral embroidery needlework makes such a statement that minimal accessories are needed, if any…. Pop on a few bakelite or wooden bangles and you're ready for the rodeo!  This is a dress straight out of The Misfits (1961) starring Marilyn Monroe!

Here in Southern California, southwestern architecture and design are a recurring theme.  This private ranch estate is a classic example of it, showcasing its adobe home and walls with scattered cactus, and rustic wood and iron elements.  Marylou was just the right dress for our rendezvous at the ranch, and made for a nostalgic afternoon filled with fun in the California sun.  Yee-haw!

Get your Marylou from Glamour Bunny in Tara's cool teal or Ashlyn's classic black.
